Recipe Suggestion

Water Buffalo Marrow Bone Pho (a Vietnamese noodle soup):

First, roast the bones in the oven until they are browned and fragrant. Then, simmer them in a large pot of water with aromatics like ginger, onion, star anise, and cinnamon sticks for several hours, until the broth is rich and flavorful. The marrow from the bones can be scooped out and added to the soup or used as a garnish.

Once the broth is ready, cook rice noodles separately and add them to a bowl with thinly-cut slices of cooked water buffalo, bean sprouts, fresh herbs like cilantro and Thai basil, and a few spoonfuls of the hot broth.

Serve with condiments like hoisin sauce, sriracha, and lime wedges on the side in order to customize the flavor to exactly to your liking!
